Remove protection[edit]

I suggest to remove the protection of this page. This should be perfectly safe if the h1 heading is emulated with CSS instead of the current heading markup which results in the [edit] link next to the section. There shouldn't be problems with vandalization once this link has gone. This page is transcluded by a special page and therefore hard to discover; i.e. one can not click edit nor check the source of the special page to see what is transcluded. --He!ko (talk) 15:37, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Actually vandals will still find this page and edit it, regardless of what is seen in upon rendering (many specifically look for pages like this). The page could probably be only semi-protected and that would take care of the problem however. BTW, if you have something to modify, just create a new section with {{edit protected}} at the top, and put the new text between <pre></pre>. Vandals would have to look really hard to find it. But semi-protected would be okay for me. Actually the page was only vandalized once and the change looked like someone edited it by accident without any harmful intend. No one actively looked to vandalize this page. We could semi-protect it for now until we run into a real problem. --He!ko (talk) 16:17, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Semi-protection does seem like the best option, at least for now. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 16:25, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
