The Comeback was a National Football League playoff game contested at Rich Stadium on January 3, 1993, between the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Oilers; the Bills, having trailed the Oilers by 32 points, eventually won the game in overtime, completing the largest comeback in NFL history.

Each team qualified for the playoffs as a wild card, and the Bills entered the game having won 11 regular season games, as against Houston's 10; nevertheless, the Oilers were favored in view of the team's having defeated the Bills in the teams' regular season meeting, 27-3. During that meeting, Bills starting quarterback Jim Kelly sustained a knee injury and was unable to return for the playoff game; backup Frank Reich, who, replacing injured starter Stan Gelbaugh, had engineered the largest comeback in college football history, having led the University of Maryland Terrapins from a 31-point deficit to defeat the University of Miami Hurricanes, 42-40, in 1984.

Behind quarterback Warren Moon, who directed the team's run-and-shoot offense, completing two touchdown passes to wide receiver Haywood Jeffires and one each to receivers Webster Slaughter and Curtis Duncan, the Oilers held a 28-3 lead at halftime; the Bills were further hampered by the loss of starting running back Thurman Thomas, who was injured and replaced by Kenneth Davis.
