Specs[edit]

What are the case specifications? Is it adapted from 7.62mmx54R?

Can someone please add the kinetic energy and velocity of this round? Reach117 (talk) 18:01, 11 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

12.7×54mm12.7×55mm STs-130 – Per this ref - [1] (Russian). 'STs-130' needs to be present to distinguish it from ASh-12 ammunition with the same dimensions. G_PViB (talk) 13:30, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

1173 grains?[edit]

"The cartridge can carry a projectile weighing between from 108 grains and 1173 grains."

Is this a typo? Is it meant to say 173 grains? Not only is that an extremely wide variation from lightest to heaviest, it is also heavier than the heaviest .50 BMG or 12.7x108 loadings. Is this correct? Axeman (talk) 01:42, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
