Merger discussion[edit]

The result of this discussion was that The 1UP Show should be merged to 1Up_Network#The_1UP_Show TipsyElephant (talk) 17:07, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The 1UP Show does not have enough coverage from reliable secondary sources to meet WP:GNG. TipsyElephant (talk) 01:17, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've decided that 1Up_Network#The_1UP_Show is a better place to merge the content. TipsyElephant (talk) 17:05, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 2 May 2022[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

1Up.com1Up Network – This move was previously discussed here because the 1Up Network was merged to 1Up.com in order to preserve its edit history.

I would like 1Up.com to be moved to 1Up Network because 1Up.com is simply the website for the 1Up Network. GameDeveloper.com appears to use 1Up Network and 1Up.com interchangeably and I can't find any sources indicating that they are separate entities. The staff page for 1up.com (here) says, "ever wonder who the people are behind the sites and magazines you love? Here's the 1UP Network Staff Page, where you can find and meet all the people responsible for creating and running all of our 1UP network properties." The fact that the staff page of the website calls itself the 1Up Network indicates to me that 1Up.com is the URL for the 1Up Network. I don't know of any other examples where a Wikipedia page for a podcast network is the URL for the podcast network. For instance, crooked.com redirects to Crooked Media, maximumfun.org redirects to Maximum Fun, iheart.com redirects to iHeartRadio, earwolf.com redirects to Earwolf, gimletmedia.com redirects to Gimlet Media, wondery.com redirects to Wondery, and qcodemedia.com redirects to QCode. Merger proposal[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was an uncontroversial merge. TipsyElephant (talk) 15:52, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I propose merging 4 Guys 1Up into 1Up Network because the two are so closely related and this page is almost exclusively supported by primary or unreliable sources. I don't think this would survive an AfD, but merging it seems like a clear choice to preserve some of this content. TipsyElephant (talk) 18:07, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
