Untitled[edit]

How does this event meet the definition of a general strike? What reliable sources describing its impact after the fact say that it was really a "general strike"? Cullen328 Let's discuss it 05:15, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This looks live very sneaky POV. As far as I can tell, it wasn't a general strike despite the claims of its organizers, and there are RS explaining why not. What should be done about it? Bkalafut (talk) 21:33, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
In (belated) answer to the query above: THIS seems sufficient to document the fact that this was a "General Strike" in intent and form — albeit one that was narrowly observed in practice. Carrite (talk) 01:40, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Woefully incomplete[edit]

There are several RS out there which detailed the role of intimidation of businesses in this demonstration, but this aspect doesn't get mentioned. The article feels very incomplete--as written this article is "revisionist" history. Maybe I'll get to adding to it.Bkalafut (talk) 21:41, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
