"detached" or "separate"[edit]

"Отдельный полк" I would say in English as "separate regiment." What do people think?

Yes, that's what I want to do. But I can't edit the title of the article to reflect this. I am new to Wikipedia, and don't really know how to edit. If anyone knows how to modify the article title, please help. 97.125.50.92 (talk) 00:42, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
{{subst:45th Detached Reconnaissance Regiment|45th Separate Reconnaissance Regiment}} - The word "detached" is a poor translation from the Russian. In English, the conventionally-used word is "separate." The rest of the article reflects this, and the name needs to be changed. --97.125.50.92 (talk) 05:50, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ukraine[edit]

This detachment allegedly fights right now in Ukraine on the side of separatists [1], just as they did in Crimea [2]. My very best wishes (talk) 20:17, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

American section[edit]

On the American section, in both sources nobody says anything about Russian soldiers beating US in a shooting competition, only that a Russian soldier scored well when Russians did a live fire. there was no competition, the SF were training the Russians on the M4 platform and the competition was between SF and their students. The Russian soldier beat other Russian soldiers, and thus the other SF instructors and their students. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.68.66.175 (talk) 09:40, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
