Folklore, rumor and myth[edit]

This is too unreferenced to put into the article, but local (Manitoba) amateur radio slang refers to a bottle of beer as an "807" - similar size. Every year local hams gather for a hamfest( Camp 807) at which many 807's are consumed, in North Western Ontario - which has the area code 807. --Wtshymanski (talk) 13:43, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually as far as "beer bottles" go, Ive never heard this term, but the term "coke bottles" is widely used in our area anyway, and rightfully so due to its shape. Nzoomed (talk) 03:05, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Encyclopedia?[edit]

I fixed the first section, but this entire article sounds like a couple of dudes talking about tubes and giving their opinion. It isn't very factual. It advises on how to use the 807, with poor advice. For instance, one section says that up to four 807s can be paralleled but doesn't say why the limit is four. There isn't actually a limit... Russian variants[edit]
