Wot no history at the beginning?[edit]

6WF has a fine history that needs to go first in this article -SatuSuro 15:21, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As well as the 6WF callsign, the old dials also had 6WN which I think transmitted on a different frequency but was somehow related. The article needs a source citation for the history. — Moondyne 01:38, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

6WN (also an ABC station) was at 810 KHz. Is now Radio National. Mitch Ames (talk) 07:35, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Abclocalradio.png[edit]

Image:Abclocalradio.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

List of broadcasters[edit]

The list of broadcasters has been removed as per the WP:WPRS article guidelines. If you are going add these back please include them as part of the prose. Hack (talk) 02:18, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December 2013 - NOTRADIOGUIDE[edit]

Recent additions to the Programming section (comprising additions of material by 121.45.239.226 and subsequent copy-edits and addition of some refs by me) look like they probably violate WP:NOTRADIOGUIDE. Any opinions or suggestions of what we should keep and what we should not?

Personally I think we should keep:

  • the information that some news and other programs are local while some are not (although we don't need so much detail, eg broadcast times and presenters)
  • mention that Breakfast is the highest rating breakfast program in Perth (it being notable)

Mitch Ames (talk) 01:53, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In the absence of any objections, I've deleted some of the details.
