I propose that the section "Gameplay" should be split to the "Gameplay of Among Us" article and "Among Us#Development and Release" be split into "History of Among Us". The article size of the article exceeded 100 kilobytes and both sections should pass WP:GNG. Brachy08 (Talk)(Contribs) 10:28, 22 April 2023 (UTC)

Hi Brachy0008, I'm not opposed to a split, but I don't believe the gameplay section should be spun off into its own article. I think the popularity and reception could be split into something like Cultural impact of Among Us. soetermans. ^{↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK} 11:14, 22 April 2023 (UTC)

• Oppose Per WP:UNDUE. There is simply nothing that differentiates Among Us from other extremely popular or impactful video games or merits the article being split into that many parts. Oppose I believe the reason the article is so large is because of the large amount of references. Half of the page is taken up by the references section and the article is full of citation overkill. Pizzaplayer219^Talk_Contribs 13:28, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

With regards to the excessive amount of citations, would it be appropriate to remove sources if they don't say anything new compared to other sources? For example, most of the articles reporting on the chicken nugget auction more or less say the same thing. ReneeWrites (talk) 19:36, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Just some grammar and punctuation fixes I've noticed that are needed.

for example fixing: "While the game was initially released in 2018 to little mainstream attention, it received a massive influx of popularity in 2020 due to many Twitch streamers and YouTubers playing it and the COVID-19 pandemic. It received favorable reviews from critics on account of its fun and entertaining gameplay. The game and its stylized characters have been the subject of various internet memes."

to be specific, the line "it received a massive influx of popularity in 2020 due to many Twitch streamers and YouTubers playing it and the COVID-19 pandemic." feels slightly dragged on and could be summed up better QuantumZazzy (talk) 15:48, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
