Chernihiv/Chernigov in 1911?[edit]

Lets look in Brittanica http://98.1911encyclopedia.org/C/CH/CHERNIGOV.htm. No Chernihiv's there only Chernigov. Try to find any respectable English-language reference to Chernihiv dated to 1911 or earlier. abakharev 14:18, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well, lets use modern English - Google - Chernigov - 341 000 hits, Chernihiv 145 000. Since the main modern English usage is Chernigov lets use it through out all the time. After all we use Moscow not Moskva or Maskva, don't we? I do not feel it is right, but i can accept it.
