It would be bad manners to have a reception section on an unreleased product, but several reliable outlets have tried it on, so I suggest we add a paragraph if someone's willing to write it. We should make it clear these are pre-release demos though.

Mixed reality or Extended reality?[edit]

Intro says the headset is a mixed reality headset, the infobox says it's an extended reality headset. I know extended reality is an umbrella term but might be confusing to readers. While MR already incorporates both VR and AR, extended reality is basically the same as MR, but might be more referring to the VR/AR/MR market as a whole and future technologies. New product line[edit]

The HomePod is a minor product. Apple fans would call it "a hobby" for Apple, which is what Steve Jobs called the Apple TV in the late 2000s. Should we remove the word upcoming from the description?[edit]

I know the official launch date is February 2 of this year, but technically, it's already out, since it can be pre-ordered. It's a technical wording issue, but I believe it shouldn't be termed as upcoming anymore. Ai777 (talk) 05:03, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
