grammer- this needs rewording[edit]

"These mountains are submerged in Bay of Bengal for sufficiently long stretch and emerges again in the form of Andaman and Nicobar Islands"

perhaps something along the lines of 'These mountains are submerged under the Bay of Bengal for a significantly long stretch and re-emerges again to make up the Andaman and Nicobar Islands' ??? That sounds better, but it still does not flow nicely.
