Claim of St David's to be primatial see of Wales[edit]

The claim of St David's to have been historically the metropolitical see of Wales, and its bishop to be Archbishop, or even for its bishop to be primate, seems chiefly to have been advanced by Gerald of Wales (otherwise Giraldis Cambrensis). There is some discussion of this on the Gerald of Wales article page, but the section on it is totally devoid of references.Ntmr (talk) 10:46, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
