PD Source[edit]

This article is predominently a cut-and-paste of the 1913 Catholic Encyclopedia. An excellent source of information, the CE is not stylistically compatible with wikipedia. (1) It has issues of POV, as it is unabashedly presenting a very specific perspective. (2) There are issues of style and POV, as the source is almost 100 years old. If you can help re-write the facts of this article in a nuetral manner more consistent with the style guidelines of wikipedia, please jump in! Pastordavid 12:31, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In Need Of Rewrite[edit]

Five years later, this article is completely incomprehensible to one not versed in Catholic theology and is in need of a serious rewrite. -- Flaose (talk) 21:02, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article is still completely off. I'm decent at theology and still struggling with it. Tripleahg (talk) 08:11, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Orthodox Christianity the only religion that isn't really allowed to have its own voice but instead is regarded to be almost a carbon copy of another religion, namely Roman Catholicism? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.32.134.108 (talk) 19:58, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
