Copyright[edit]

The previous 'History' and 'Mattersey Hall' sections were verbatim copies of parts of [1] and [2] respectively. The 'Kingdom Bank' section is a verbatim copy of [3]. Duncan Keith 12:11, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the deletion of the entire sections was excessively destructive; I've reworded both and they are a lot shorter and not quotes from the previous sources. 78.145.170.144 17:57, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contribution. It is WP policy that material that is copied from a non-free source without justification should be reverted immediately (see WP:Copyright_problems#Instructions). One reason for this policy is that if the copyright holder asserts their rights at some point in the future then any edits made to the copyrighted material may be lost. Prompt reversion of copyright violations ensures that editors are working from a solid foundation. Duncan Keith 06:57, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
