Source[edit]

Tuđman, Franjo; Nametak, Alija (1997) (in Croatian). Sarajevske uspomene. Hrvatska sveučilišna naklada. ISBN 9789531690010

There could be a mistake crediting Franjo Tuđman with this book? Number of sources credit Fehim Nametak as the one who had texts chosen and prepared for print. [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]--Rovoobo Talk 10:56, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would say that there was some kind of book mix up as two references used in this August Košutić article (ref No. [5] Tuđman & Nametak 1997, p. 31. and ref No. [10] Tuđman & Nametak 1997, p. 268.) could not be found in Sarajevske uspomene book in which at page 31 there are no reference to August Košutić and his travel to USA and also the book has only 180 pages which excludes ref No. 10.

The book that the mixed up could be with is a book from Dr. Franjo Tuđman, Hrvatska u monarhističkoj Jugoslaviji: 1918.-1941., Hrvatska sveučilišna naklada, Zagreb, 1993., ISBN 953-169-001-4, vol. 2. as references could be from pages 31 "(...) Siječnja 1930. Košutić i Krnjević, u ime hrvatskoga narodnog zastupstva predaju memorandum Društvu naroda (...)" and 268 "(...) Mačekov kandidat za položaj bana Hrvatske bio je ing. August Košutić, ali na to knez Pavle nije htio pristati, pa se onda Maček, iako nerado, složio da bude postavljen dr. Ivan Šubašić (...)". --Rovoobo Talk 12:01, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'll get to this. --Wustenfuchs 23:38, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

O.K. Prob. just change and instead of Nametak's Sarajevske uspomene book put Tuđman's Hrvatska u monarhističkoj Jugoslaviji: 1918.-1941. as refs?--Rovoobo Talk 00:43, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rovoobo, yes. --Wustenfuchs 20:15, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality issue?[edit]

Could we have some clarity around what the neutrality issue is? Thanks, Peacemaker67 (send... over) 11:28, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The sparse use of English-language sources gives it a nationalist slant (the use of Vladko Maček, Franjo Tuđman and Boris Gašpar as sources doesn't help either). 23 editor (talk) 12:25, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. Peacemaker67 (send... over) 12:26, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Gašpar is indeed not an ideal source; can't say anything about Maček and Tuđman, but I can imagine why they would be problematic.
Unfortunately, English sources that give him more than a passing mention will be hard to find. I'd say that the problem with the article is chiefly a WP:COATRACK-like approach which needs to be toned down. GregorB (talk) 19:00, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
