Copyvio problems[edit]

Good catch on the copyright issues; I obviously picked the wrong search strings when I processed the AfC request here. The article appears to be a mix of copyrighted and original text, so I created a semi-stubbed version on the Talk:Bacone College/Temp page with the copyrighted material removed. I removed the copyvio tag per OTRS ticket# 2006071910015863 (We would like to give express written permission to Wikipedia for the cited text included in your website/encyclopedia under the terms and conditions listed at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:GFDL.). --Timichal 10:02, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation of "Bacone"[edit]

I think a guide to proper pronunciation of "Bacone" would be appropriate, as I hear it pronounced variously as either "bacon" or "bay-CONE" by people unfamiliar with the school (I do not know the correct pronunciation). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.90.12.233 (talk) 02:29, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Former faculty here: Bay-CONE is how it is pronounced. 05:54, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

Wording is misleading[edit]

The first paragraph needs to be edited to remove the implication that American Baptist Churches USA is a tribal nation.
