"True Story"?[edit]

All of my searches for "Laura Bowman" just turn up reviews of the movie. Apart from the 8888 Uprising itself, is any aspect of this movie actually true? It seems odd that the protagonist of a major motion picture "based on a true story" doesn't seem to have any existence outside of the film. 70.20.171.242 (talk) 01:08, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
