The result of the move request was: move the page to Black people in Liverpool at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 16:46, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I would actually Support renaming the current article to Ethnic groups in Liverpool instead and make it a sub-section, to be consistent with the existing Ethnic groups in London article. The article is currently a redirect to Demography of Liverpool and renaming to this would allow for a broader article. The current Blacks in Liverpool article is quite short anyway so making it more general for ethnic groups would not bloat it too much. Bungle(talk • contribs) 20:16, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Q: What if they are black, but not british? —usernamekiran(talk) 21:23, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Then they're not the subject of the article. The article is about the established community, not tourists. --Ahecht (TALK PAGE) 21:49, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
But what about black people who have residency but are not citizens and thus not British by the normal use of the word? — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 09:07, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I would support moving to "Black people born in Liverpool" to get around the issue of immigrants and tourists, but it's hardly concise. jamacfarlane (talk) 00:34, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
