POV wording[edit]

Vilsk: wording such as "turned coat", "Mr. Ricker’s testimony cemented the long-held belief that his initial work for the industry wasn't motivated by his support for gun rights, but rather a purely financial matter." and "publications whose stance on the firearms issue tends to consort with his own" are not in compliance with Wikipedia:NPOV. Moreover, the second sentence is defamatory, and therefore totally unacceptable to wikipedia - how could you possibly provide an acceptable, non-biased source for this (how does one PROVE motivation? I've reverting all of your changes because I'm not going to try to reword what could be acceptable from what is not. Please read wikipedia policy and feel free to do CONSTRUCTIVE edits. Copied text[edit]

The whole "Television appearances and publications" section is lifted wholesale from AHSA's bio on Ricker[1] 14:00, 26 September 2006 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.126.107.112 (talkcontribs)

I've removed any words that I think can be considered POV; that makes the section simply a recital of facts. I'm certain that AHSA won't complain about the new version. John Broughton | Talk 15:30, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
