Speedy Deletion Questions[edit]

I've put the hangon notice here because the newbie author put it on his/her own talk page instead. No reason given. Is it a copyvio or not? I don't see a source that it's supposed to be violating. Toddst1 (talk) 17:02, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t know about copyvio, but parts of it certainly read like an essay or personal reflection. Odysseus1479 (talk) 07:13, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Help with Resource cited?[edit]

Hello, I am trying to track down the following resource, cited in this article: Sohn, Pow-key (April – June, 1959). "Early Korean Printing". The Journal of Asian Studies 79 (2): 96–103.

Either I am completely going about the wrong way looking for it or something is wrong with the citation. I've found the Journal of Asian Studies issues from 1959 but there is no 79(2). The volume is 18-19 for that year, and also there is no April-June issue. Can somebody please help me track this article down? Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by FutureInfoPro (talkcontribs) 16:53, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I found it. This citation used an incorrect journal title and apparently numerous people on the web just copied the same citation without verifying. The journal title is "The Journal of the American Oriental Society" NOT "Journal of Asian Studies". I will amend the citation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FutureInfoPro (talkcontribs) 16:56, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
