Untitled[edit]

Lonnie was never in King Kobra. I have all of the KK albums, he isn't on any of them or even given songwriting credits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.71.65.85 (talk) 03:23, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

King Kobra[edit]

I'm pretty sure that Lonnie Vencent was also in King Kobra. I'll have to check, though.

Lonnie was indeed in King Kobra as well, but it says so in the bio.

no reason[edit]

There's no reason given on this talk page for the dispute tag to be in place on the article. Therefore I'm removing it. NoahB 18:08, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It may have been a different reason before, but I put it in place because of the article claiming Jimmy D'Anda was the band's original drummer. See several sections down. Gringo300 (talk) 14:51, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:BulletBoys Album Cover.jpg[edit]

Image:BulletBoys Album Cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

File:BulletBoys1.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:BulletBoys1.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Marc Danzeisen[edit]

I have read from multiple sources that Marc Danzeisen played drums for BulletBoys before Jimmy D'Anda did, but the article says Jimmy was the original drummer. I'm not an expert on this, though, so I'm not real comfortable making a change in the article on this right now. Gringo300 (talk) 09:08, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If they are reliable sources then there is no reason not to change. However, perhaps wording it to something along the lines of "D'Anda has been credited as the original drummer of BulletBoys.[source(s) here] However, Marc Danzeisen was drummer for the group prior to D'Anda joing.[source(s) here]." Or something like that. HrZ (talk) 14:44, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Reference replaced as the Allmusic one was inadequate in relation to this. Karst (talk) 20:21, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
