GA review (see here for criteria)

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
    • In the Kalamazoo section junction list, you mention the "Eastern end of freeway". While the freeway is oriented east-west, the business route is north-south and the note should say "Southern end of freeway" to reflect the directions of Bus. US 131.
    • In the Grand Rapids business loop section, you use the phrase "various businesses" in two consecutive sentences.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
    • Do you think you can mention how many lanes wide the business routes are and whether or not they are divided roadways.
    • For the Kalamazoo business route, it appears southbound Bus. US 131 does not follow westbound M-43 on Kalamazoo Avenue but instead follows Michikal Street southwest between the intersection of Westnedge and Kalamazoo and Michigan and Main. This should be corrected.
    • For the Big Rapids business route, you should mention what direction it and M-20 head from US 131 into Big Rapids.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Pictures of the business loops would be nice to have. Also, It may help to have a map in the infobox showing where all the business routes of US 131 are. However, the lack of neither will hold this article up.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

I will place the article on hold for a few fixes to be made. Dough4872 01:23, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Dough4872: all corrections have been applied save the lane counts. I'll add them here shortly. Additionally, I won't change the direction of the freeway reference in the Kalamazoo RJL. Many other articles use the actual direction for such things as concurrency termini, even where that conflicts with the signed orientation of the subject highway. In this case, the freeway is east–west, so to say something is the "southern end" of that freeway is absurd. Imzadi 1979  01:35, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I will pass the article, though I think you should still refer to it as the southern end of the freeway since its the southern end of the part of Bus. US 131 that's a freeway, even though its oriented east-west, but I'm not gonna push the issue. Dough4872 02:16, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
