Which Cartoon Network is shown via cable in Lithuania?[edit]

The official sites and the channel itself doesn't give any info about the channel, and I thought that maybe here someone knows which Cartoon Network is shown in Lithuania. If someone knows, please tell me. I have noticed the delay of LT CN (I call this because it's shown here, but it's still all English) - the CGI effects, as well as the new logo showed up only at 2006 (Wiki says that in the USA it appeared on 2004). ALso, I checked with the UK CN, and that's not it, as it features some extra and also classic shows (the LT CN only features new shows, usually Cartoon Cartoons, and NO classic shows what so ever), so I don't know what is this channel I was watching for ten years?

I think Israel has the same channel! I want to find out what country it is from too. So please, if you know where is it from write it here! I'll help you find out by entering some important data on it: Its web site is www.cartoonnetworkhq.net The time that is represnted there is CET (which is about GMT+1) It's in English Once there were old cartoons from the 60's and such, then they gave up on them and showed only Cartoon Cartoons, and now it shows Cartoon Cartoons along with Canadian cartoons like: Skunk Fu, Total Drama Island and even Bakugan Battle BrawlersZig-Zac (talk) 06:59, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's a pan European version for countries which do not have their own localised channel. treelo radda 10:34, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Then why doesn't it have its own page?Zig-Zac (talk) 03:39, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If it is a relay, there's no need for a separate article. Yngvarr (t) (c) 10:05, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Short Latin American section[edit]

This section only talked of the countries who transmited Cartoon Network. I expanded the section because is too short. I put a list of some programs that are showed on the channel and put some info of a section named cinemanía. I'll know all that because i'll see Cartoon Network Latin American since 2001! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.153.72.193 (talk) 01:03, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why have you deleted Western Europe channels?[edit]

Why have you deleted Western Europe channels? Cartoon Network Europe isn't aired in all Europe, but in the following countries only: Portugal, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belarus, Ukraine, Balkan countries, Moldova and Slovenia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.2.115.169 (talk) 13:13, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Only one of those countries are in western Europe, the other nations are accounted for. --treelo talk 13:23, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why not? The long article was duplicating the information which was already in the country-specific articles, and he created at least one article which was lacking. For what it's worth, there was no deletion, the history still is there. Work with us, not against us, while things are sorted out. Yngvarr (c) 13:37, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why have you deleted articles on Germany, France, Italy and Netherlands? These countries don't receive Cartoon Network Europe--79.2.115.169 (talk) 13:38, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If they don't receive the Europe feed, where do they receive it from? Yngvarr (c) 13:53, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
France, Wallonia, Dom-Tom and French language Africa receive the French feed, with French audio track and French advertising. Go here: http://www.cartoonnetwork.fr/microsites_advertiser/info/index.jsp
Germany and Austria receive the German feed, with German audio track and German advertising. Go here: http://www.cartoonnetwork.de/home/index.jsp —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.2.115.169 (talk) 14:05, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Update the articles then, please stop complaining about something you can solve yourself. --treelo talk 14:07, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What articles can I update?--79.2.115.169 (talk) 14:11, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They weren't any articles for those nations for the reasons you mentioned, the parts that were relevant have been put into the main European article and if you want to have artices for those nations which recieve their own independent broadcast of the station then create it. --treelo talk 13:56, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cartoon Network Country addition[edit]

I added the article of Cartoon Network Japan. But don't worry, not only the Japanese website but also available in English website (same as the Japanese Website but written in English including the programming schedule). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.106.232.194 (talk) 10:45, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is this still a disambig?[edit]

Seems we now have a lead paragraph for the article but still with the same links as before but without the {{disambig}} template. I approve but whether or not it's no longer a disambig due to a describing paragraph has me scratching my head and want to gain a little consensus, WP:DUCK comes to mind as it still works like a disambig and looks like one and I'm sure others also have lead paragraphs for things which are related. treelo radda 13:20, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It sure passes the duck test, in that it is acting like a disambig. The dab template really just puts it into the Category:Disambiguation pages, besides adding some pretty text explaining that, hey, this is a disambig page. Other than that, I'd say leave it as it is, without the dab template... Yngvarr (t) (c) 17:58, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
My thinking is that this title should not be a disambig for the following reasons. Obviously, we do not have here a collection of unrelated things that all just happen to be called "Cartoon Network" by sheer coincidence (like, say, Georgia). All of these networks are part of a global business organization, and there ought to be an introductory article here that describes that organization as distinct from its national programming variants. Granted, I didn't really write one, just created a stub, but that is the motivation. (This was previously discussed somewhat at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Cartoon Network#Making Cartoon Network not a disambiguation page.) --Russ (talk) 10:54, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I can't argue with that logic, but apparently someone else does.... We used to have this sprawling mess called "Cartoon Network around the world", which is one of the things we're trying to avoid from being recreated. Call this whatever you wish, a disambig or a link farm. The intro is (was) good, but just expressing concern that we might be doomed to repeat history. Merging CN PAK into CN IND[edit]

I am here to suggest the merge of Cartoon Network (Pakistan) into Cartoon Network (India). CN Pakistan is just a delayed relay of CN India with local variations. -- JSH-alive (talk)(cntrbtns)(mail me) 03:55, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If it's just a relay, then I'd say do it. Yngvarr (t) (c) 09:10, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its not the delayed version of Cartoon Network (India). Cartoon Network (Pakistan) have its own programs, shows, contest and lots of stuff. Only some programs are delayed version of CN India as it is a chain of channels in different countries. -- M. Help![edit]

If people could pitch in with disamming links to this page, that'd be terrific. We have literally over 1,000 pages linking to this page, most of which should be going to Cartoon Network (United States). Any help would be great. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 12:17, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it should be done and someone did disambig then to the correct article at one point but was reverted due to the tool being used being broken. I'll get onto it. treelo radda 13:50, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Pages[edit]

I Added new pages about Cartoon Network Spain and Cartoon Network CEE (Poland, Hungry and Romainia).

P.S: For Cartoon Network CEE. Not to get mixed up with Cartoon Network EMEA these are two completely different feeds. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Heavycivil95245 (talkcontribs) 06:31, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
