Marcus Procession[edit]

There are more details on the Markus procession brawl under the German wiki article de:Kreuz-_und_Fahnengefecht (which needs translation) in addition to additional research on the actual procession itself http://www.brauchtumsseiten.de/a-z/m/markusprozession/home.html on German sources. Protestant Union Box[edit]

The box on the protestant union implies the membership of France in that organization. This is not the case, as France remained a Catholic nation. France was merely allied with the Union, and this should be reflected somehow, though I'm not sure of the best way to do so. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cowboydan76 (talkcontribs) 05:07, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Protestant Union didn't ever actually fight the League, which Frederick, Denmark, Sweden and France did do. Therefore, listing Frederick V separately from the Union makes sense, as does listing France Denmark and Sweden in the same list. Clemens Deimann (talk) 11:50, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sources needed[edit]

This article needs a lot more references. While the information is, to my knowledge as a first year history student, correct, there are no sources provided outside of an encyclopedia entry. Maybe someone with a better knowledge of German could look at eg Michael Kaiser, Politik und Kriegsführung Maximilian von Bayern, Tilly und die Katholische Liga im Dreißigjährigen Krieg for citations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clemens Deimann (talkcontribs) 13:48, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
