neutrality[edit]

This article is clearly not neutral, but I suppose it is a good start. It needs references for any stats.

Yes. I actually attend this school, and I am wondering where some of this information is coming from.

Why was the section on the notable alumni deleted? I don't see why it would not be relevent to have on the page?

Why is there a thing on band and JETS? I am a member of JETS, but the pitifully small section on JETS does not need to clog the tubes of the interweb.

thank god you got rid of the mention of the i*team. it's ridiculous to mention them and other cliques that are stupid, immature and remind me of middle school. i think we're a little to old to have such cliques. college's wont give a shit what clique you were in.

Study of Biblical Literature[edit]

Should there be some mention of the Bible class offered at CPHS? Not too long ago it was in the newspapers for being one of the few Bible classes that didn't proseltyze. Here's the linkto one newspaper that came in and did interviews. I think the Hill Country News also did an article on it. If you do include it, it should focus mainly on why it is a special class, and not about the details of what happens in the class.

Search for CPHS and see what happens...[edit]

If you do a search for CPHS (which stands for Cedar Park High School) you're redirected to Como Park Senior High School (CPSHS). Shouldn't it come to this article instead? I agree with you. It seems kind of strange that that happens. I changed it so it would redirect to this page, but I don't know how long that will stay that way.

CPHS TV[edit]

I'll bet Im annoying everyone with my continuous posts here. Anyways, the CPHS Wolfcast was recently in a local paper (I think it was the Hillcountry News) and I was wondering if it should be mentioned, especially if we want to lengthen the article. The Wolfcast is basically the daily announcments recorded by one of the classes (either jounralism or broadcasting, I'm not in either so I wouldn't know) and then played on all the TV's in the school and over the PA system. comparisons of football teams[edit]

You can't just say that Cedar Park's football team is better or worse than Leander's. Without documentation, that's just opinion. What you need to do is report their win/loss records or find some external source (such as a Hill Country News article) that makes the claim. (Either way, you need to reference the source.) The other problem is you have to explain why a comparison with Leander (as opposed to some other school like Liberty Hill) is notable. Presumably they're rivals of some sort but again you have to find some external source that says so.

2001 Scandal[edit]

It seems to me there should be some mention of the national news coverage of CPHS after the infamous incident with the Class of 2001 students who thought it wise to counterfeit $100 bills and use them at Lakeline Mall and the Four Points HEB. Actually it was the Secret Service who did the investigation...for some reason counterfeiting falls into their jurisdiction. I don't remember much about this except that it was three guys and and girl who made the money (and then proceeded to use it at the store where one of them worked). The school was investigated mainly because they wanted to know if the money was printed at the school (turns out it wasn't, but that we did have all the right equipment for it). --207.235.29.189 (talk) 21:10, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
