Achieving consensus[edit]

I've made some significant changes to this article to remove material that I thought was not rigorously independent or self-promotional or that is peripheral. I know want to move to make this a stable version. I'd like to invite other editors to feed in thoughts over the next week. At the end of that period we will assume that consensus has been achieved and we have a stable article. This avoids the risk of future edit warring and to show that we can all work collaboratively and openly. Thanks in advance. Contaldo80 (talk) 04:14, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I feel that this article makes too much use of the "Annual Report of the Supreme Knight" (for 2013) for lots of specific number claims about people helped, etc. than would be ideal for an article which could be said to be talking only about the good things the Knights do. I would prefer some of these be removed if Independent Sources can't be found for the claims, or at least stated NOT in wikivoice, but rather: The Knights, in their Annual Report, claim X and Y. I don't believe that claims like these in an annual report are subject to SEC or IRS laws penalizing people for lying or misrepresentation as would be the case for a publicly traded company's annual report. ---Avatar317(talk) 22:39, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Good point Avatar. If you want to take that all out then please go ahead as I agree it looks very odd. Contaldo80 (talk) 00:04, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
