Statistics[edit]

I've been thinking of adding some stastics relating to the ethnicities of students at this school. The information comes from this .pdf file from the district website, page 41/41, http://www.ccps.k12.fl.us/Departments/LTT/techplan/Tech_Plan_2007-2010.pdf. I'm putting this here to gauge what everyone else thinks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.56.200.119 (talk) 00:43, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do not see how that information is really necessary, but you can check around the FA, A and GA-class articles here to see if any actually integrated that information into the article. For any questions regarding article structure for schools, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools. « ₣ullMetal ₣alcon » 00:06, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Completion Date[edit]

The article says the school will be finished sometime in 2010. I dont know when the school will be completely finished but we are expecting to move in to the first few buildings after we get back from spring break 2009.

  • It is noted that your school will be completed in 2010 because an external source reported so. If you know of a reliable source (perhaps a school website?) that supports your claim, please drop a note here so we can add it to the article, or better yet, be bold and add it yourself. -User:PCHS-NJROTC 76.5.25.248 (talk) 03:43, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plans for improvement[edit]

To make a GA, Port Charlotte High School is a fairly decent example. A picture of the front would be nice, but remember that it must be free content. I'd love to get one myself, but I'm hardly ever down there. It would be nice to get pictures of the portables, the construction site, the new school once it's finished, etc. Also, the "Extracurricular activities" section should be expanded with referenced, unbiased information. Something I've noticed with this article, Port Charlotte High School, and Lemon Bay High School is that people have a nasty habit of including unreferenced, biased information. It would be appropriate to mention awards and outstanding acheivements, as well as about notable scandals. The football team's performance at the state playoffs would probably be worth a mention. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to post them here, or just be bold and edit the article yourself. I'll be watching this page (and probably expanding it too) along with Port Charlotte High and Lemon Bay High. :) PCHS-NJROTC (Messages) 20:04, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV dispute[edit]

The criticisms section has been disputed by newbie editors more than once. Discussion is ongoing at Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous); please contribute to the discussion there. PCHS-NJROTC (Messages) 20:59, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Killawatts13, 19 July 2011[edit]

Small error, at the bottom of the page, it reads

Matthew LaPorta — major league forst baseman for the Cleveland Indians,[18] 2008 Beijing Olympics participant.[19]

typo in the word FIRST - not forst
