Suggest merge[edit]

Plastic leaded chip carrier is just another kind of chip carrier and could easily be merged into this article, giving a less fragmentary overview of the topic and avoiding repetitious explanation of the "chip carrier" concept. --Wtshymanski (talk) 04:48, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merged and redirected. --Wtshymanski (talk) 17:12, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Leaded vs. Leadless[edit]

The article uses the terms leaded and leadless interchangeably with the same acronyms. Ex: the acronym LCC is called "leaded chip carrier" in one part of the article, and "leadless chip carrier" in another part of the article. Which is it? Does the industry actually use the same acronym for two different things? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trent021 (talkcontribs) 20:27, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
