Flying buttresses[edit]

Tapper built high and wide on many of his sites (e.g. St Erkenwald; Southend-on-Sea) as well as here at the Annunciation, Marble Arch, London. Because the walls were so near the site boundaries, and were not being pushed out by the weight of stone vaulted roofs, he had neither room nor need for flying buttresses. So I have removed the word "flying" from the text. Obviously, if you can provide evidence to the contrary, feel free to reverse my edit. ShropshirePilgrim (talk) 16:04, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
