Abbreviation[edit]

In Cincinnati, it's abbreviated CCD. Not CCDS.

If it's abbreviated to CCD, I will redirect "CCDS" to Charlotte Country Day School, as it is abbreviated CCDS and seems to have as much relevance as this article. Feel free to message me if anyone disagrees. Arius Maximus 23:14, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As an alum, I can assure you that the correct abbreviation is CCDS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.107.91.99 (talk) 17:54, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Upon what grounds did the school have to sue Steven Soderbergh and the other producers of "Traffic" merely because the character portrayed by Erika Christensen in the film attended Cincinnati Country Day School? I don't see any cause of action here. The school may not have liked that character or the film but on what grounds did they sue? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.160.148.210 (talk) 19:08, 5 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

According to some alumni I've spoken to about this, it all came down to libel and trying to push the idea that "drug users don't go to CCD." CFMASS (talk) 04:33, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ccds1.JPG[edit]

Image:Ccds1.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Why is there even a page?[edit]

Setting aside that the quality of the page is rubbish, why does the page even exist? It's just another school's vanity page, with nowt to say. I don't know the Traffic case - if the school earnt sufficient notoriety from its handling of that fictional alumnus, then tell me about that, but even then I don't see why the page needs to exist. 152.91.9.153 (talk) 05:12, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
