Single References Cited[edit]

The only reference cited in the second last paragraph is to an article on another site that:

  • is highly opinionated (basically describing a pretty wild conspiracy theory); and
  • cites no references whatsoever.

For commentary that indicates possible illegal activity to be maintained in the article, additional more credible references should be cited. Millsman 15:35, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the comments. I have removed the offending material pending better data at a later date.Verne Equinox 21:42, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:ClairtoneLogo.jpg[edit]

Image:ClairtoneLogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Sinclair story[edit]

So what's the story with the Mini-HiFi? By this point the company was in severe financial straits - did they license the design from Sinclair? I was confused because there were actually two Sinclair models; the Clairtone more closely resembles the later, two-transistor, Sinclair. What we *really* need is a photo of a Project G! --Wtshymanski (talk) 21:11, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, but you're not going to find one at your local second-hand. It was a pretty rare machine. I believe there is one on display at the Design Exchange in Toronto. Thanks for your upload BTW. Its better than nothing! Verne Equinox (talk) 02:25, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The darndest things turn up at Value Village and the Salvation Army, though 40-year-old stereos aren't that common. --Wtshymanski (talk) 04:14, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
