Deletion[edit]

There's one sentence in the article, which is also in the Colin McRae: Dirt article. Nothing has been reported about this game apart from that it's in production and it's being released in '09. It is not notable and should be merged with the original article. ChimpanzeeUK - User | Talk | Contribs 16:04, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why is that? 70.45.182.188 (talk) 13:13, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DiRT 2?[edit]

I though they are'nt making more Colin McRae games. I though Colin's deceased. 70.45.182.188 (talk) 13:13, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but Codemasters still need the money and they let you play as a deceased pilot. Simple as that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.33.102.190 (talk) 09:33, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What!? It's not like they're just cash-cowing it and being disrespectful. The decision to make a second game was made by Colin's family and you will NOT be able to play as him...F4M !! 22:01, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dirt vs. DiRT[edit]

So, I noticed recently that all the DiRTs were changed to Dirt, presumably to reflect a shortened European version of the title. I realize that I shouldn't get so worked up about something as pedantic as this capitalization, although seeing as I wrote a sizable portion of the article, I feel I have a say in the matter. Yes, the non-American title of the game includes the "Colin McRae: " bit at the beginning. However, I would like to point you to [[1]], the UK official site, in which it clearly shows DiRT 2 as the proper formatting of that part of the title. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blastoboy1000 (talkcontribs) 05:51, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This was more likely done to make the article comply with WP:MOSTM which says: "Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules even if the trademark owner considers nonstandard formatting "official"" Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 18:39, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
