Poorly sourced, in need of clean up[edit]

All of the extraneous information about social involvement, stray dogs and Africans is not sourced and has been deleted. See WP:IRS, and WP:V before reverting back to the changes. It seems that the information was put up by students wishing to be admitted to medical school or for other personal promotions. 74.216.77.195 (talk) 19:25, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

I would like to get help expanding this article to include sports achievements, and statistics such as number of teachers.

Also, more external links supporting the Manitoba grant for its citizenship would be helpful.

Content providing the details on school services/structures such as the library, gym, etc. --Chrisjustinparr 02:17, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The one with the ip 142.161.71.78, please stop vandilizing this page. The Eagles, NFL and Batman have nothing to do with Collège Jeanne-Sauvé.

Removed some of the accumulated junk that has been added to this page where it was clearly unencyclopaedic, but I don't doubt more is there, just not as clear cut. Sfnhltb 01:24, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

People have been vandilizing this page with references to members of the school. 19:57, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism (Chalked Full Of Disgusting Lies)[edit]

This article has been the subject of rampant vandalism from students with poor grades at the actual school. I request that this page be edit protected, as the last month of edits have been pure destruction by kids with low IQ.

12:35, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

For someone looking to write something 'encyclopedic', accusing people who write on this page to have low IQ's and for having bad grades without the facts is pretty sad.

Hey, go ahead and be a coward, trying to hide true facts about the school. I'm sure you can get your protection against people 'destroying' your precious article.

Wow.[edit]

This article is ridiculously poorly written. Most of it seems to be some teens sitting at the school computer lab and writing up random stuff. I'm removing most of it as it isn't helpful, but that leaves the article in semi-stub form; main point, it needs improvement. _-M o P-_ 19:07, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Note you essentially just mostly redid the changes I had done to remove the junk previously accumulated, the user hulkdomo (talk) merely keeps reverting to old versions with the various nonencyclopaedic content in. Sfnhltb 19:55, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Puppet Man is a fool[edit]

It's interesting that a fountain of knowledge such as Master of Puppets would think it's teenagers who are responsible for the recent changes. My question is, does he even attend CJS? Does he know if these stories are true or not? (unsigned comment added on 20:13, 3 April 2006 by user Hulkdomo)

It doesn't matter if they are true or not, because they are unencyclopaedic. Sfnhltb 21:42, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I am a teenager myself. I do live in Winnipeg but I don't attend CJS. However, most of the stuff is just common vandalism. And you might want to consider changing that title; could be interpreted as a NPA breach. _-M o P-_ 18:48, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Undoing talk page vandalism[edit]

Reverting all 3 changes by user:Hulkdomo talk in which he removed my comments, or modified the ones talking about him to change it to make it look as if I was talking about user:Master of Puppets Sfnhltb 18:25, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks; however, it doesn't seem he'll stop soon as he is using multiple IPs to readd deleted content. _-M o P-_ 18:49, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of excitement![edit]

The witch hunt continues! How ever will they "discipline" Hulkdomo? (unsigned comment added on 21:02, 4 April 2006 by User:Pacmeng)

Do I have to do everything around here?[edit]

You edit the page to remove all unencyclopaedic references, but you leave in a blasphemous comment about Jeanne Sauve having to be "pushed" to visit the school? Come on guys, do your job. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pacmeng (talkcontribs) 21:12, 4 April 2006

It was removed with my maintenance a few days ago, but somebody probably readded it. And you might want to reconsider supporting Hulkdomo. _-M o P-_ 21:29, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stop Hiding The Truth[edit]

You weren't at the school for many of the years it was open. I was. I know the truth and want to share it. Many people would love to read about the hijinx of the old CJS days, but you insist to spreading misinformation. Shame! —This unsigned comment was added by 72.57.46.25 (talkcontribs) 05:32, 5 April 2006.

Why not make a blog then? That way your 'hijinx' can be there for all to see indefinitely, rather than being deleted after a few hours for not being encyclopaedic. -- Sfnhltb 07:15, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pfft. I know the true story and you are just speading lies. Stop trying to play God and let the real stories be told. And cut it out with this 'encyclopaedic' garbage. I read your info and half of it is completely untrue. What makes you an expert on anything?

Disgusting[edit]

I see you've still blocked people from adding to the content of the entry. Coward. I guess some random fool is the expert on CJS and its history. Those who know the truth will see right through you. Stop trying to play God.

Poor writing[edit]

This sentence is poorly written:

"The schools that generally enroll in Collège Jeanne-Sauvé are the immersion schools of École Saint-Germain, École Julie-Riel, École Marie-Anne-Gaboury, and École Varennes."

Schools are buildings. They can't enroll in other schools. Only students can. Could one of you geniuses please fix this?

It looks like it was written by amateurs with no knowledge of the school

Oh wait . . . it was.

Criticism: Drug Use[edit]

Why does that ridiculous entry continue to show up? I attended CJS from its opening in January 1990 until June 1995, and I don't recall there ever being a discussion about the use of drugs in the forest behind the school. Stick to the facts, guys.

I agree. Unless a citation can be provided, it does not belong. -- Usgnus 18:03, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

1990[edit]

CJS opened its doors to the students on the first day back after the Christmas break in January 1990. How do I know? Well, I was in Grade 7 that year. I was born in 1977, so my Grade 7 year was 1989-1990.

EDIT: Master Of Puppets, may I ask why you changed the date back to 1989 earlier today? Do you have a source that states that the school officially opened in 1989? Because if so, your source is wrong. I guess I'm just curious to know what your editing process is. Please drop me a note here to explain. Thanks.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but if the school was dedicated in 1989 and staff or teachers had access to the school before December 31, one could argue that 1989 is the correct establishment date, even if the students did not attend classes until January 1990. --Usgnus 17:57, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. But we're not talking about the establishment date. We're talking about the sentence that was changed back to The school was finally opened in January of 1989 to grades six through twelve. The school wasn't even complete in January 1989, and if you're referencing when the school was opened to students, then January 1990 is the correct date.

Sorry, I was looking at the date in the infobox and not at the text. -- Usgnus 18:18, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just a suggestion: if you don't want your edits reverted as readily, you should sign up for an account. -- Usgnus 18:20, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done and done.

Well, I didn't see the date; I just reverted the removal of text. Sorry if I was wrong, I don't know much about the school; looked like vandalism though. I'll stay out unless its blatant vandalism. Cheers, Master of Puppets That's hot. 18:44, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Makes Me Wanna Puke[edit]

When I look at all the false information on this disgusting page, I just want to barf all over the place.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
