What will this be?[edit]

This will be a table, containing all recognized countries, their ISO member status, year joined, Standards Body, and other details.

Suggested rename[edit]

At some point this page should be renamed. According to Wikipedia:Naming conventions, names that suggest a hierarchy of articles should not be used. Khatru2 08:22, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:ISO english logo.svg[edit]

The image Image:ISO english logo.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Table content[edit]

The table currently features country name, and 3 identifiers from ISO norm 3166: the 2 letter abbreviation; the 3 letter abbreviation and the numeric identifier… I suggest to remove the 2-letter and numerical identifier (as the others are covered complete at ISO 3166); and to add the year of entrance into the system; as well as any changes in membership status….
