hitting Iowa players in the face with basketballs[edit]

First, these sentences are irrelevant to Dakich's television and radio career: "Dakich played and coached at Indiana, where players had previously thrown basketballs directly into the faces of Hawkeye players Brad Lohaus on an inbound pass in 1987 and Kent Hill in 1988. Dakich was a coach at Indiana at the time." Second of all, I'm neither an Indiana, Wisconsin, or Iowa fan, but this just reeks of somebody conjuring up "evidence" that Dakich would be a hypocrite for calling Woodbury gutless because Dakich also did similar things back in the day. This is not coming from a neutral point of view. Third, the association is tangential at best. He was an assistant coach at the time. Under Bob Knight...someone renowned for his "gamesmanship." I plan on deleting these sentences even with sourcing. They clearly express a non-neutral POV. --69.140.18.201 (talk) 10:26, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

False information and bad writing.[edit]

The current first paragraph says two things:

1) He is a former player, assistant coach, and interim head coach for the Indiana University Hoosiers. (True)

2) He is the (current) head coach at Bowling Green State University. (False)

This is terrible writing, and this is why wikis need to be editable.
