October-November 2009 cleanup[edit]

This article underwent a major cleanup and expansion. In addition to periodic updates and such, the history section, especially for a school of 140 years, needs a major expansion. I know the school has a section of its website dedicated to history, but that may not meet the reliable source requirement. Someone from Danville who has access to local newspapers and such may need to take that step.

While a list of principals is encouraged by the Schools Wikiproject, many editors feel it clutters the article. I think modifying the table was a compromise.

Best of luck to editing this article ... it looks like this school has an interesting story, and it should be told (properly). LonelyBeacon (talk) 17:38, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment[edit]

I am giving this article a provisional assessment of "mid" for the Wikischools project, based on the long (yet to be documented) history of the school, and its more confirmed alumni. This assessment is provisional, pending a more experienced editor from the project confirming this. It still requires more expansion and referencing before it can move from "start" status.
