Past Stage Productions[edit]

I have an extremely limited knowledge on past stage productions at the school, so if you know any or have a list of stage productions, please add them to the section - ZakuSage 05:30, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There should be a section on Notable Alumni. I know a bit about Dartmouth high productions and facts from 2000 - 2003, so later on I will edit the page to "fill in the gaps" when I have time - Agdonald 09:36, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

thus Dartmouth High School is such an organization, and:

A company, corporation, organization, team, religion, group, product, or service is notable if it has been the subject of coverage in secondary sources. Such sources must be reliable, and independent of the subject. The depth of coverage of the subject by the source must be considered. If the depth of coverage is not substantial, then multiple independent sources should be cited to establish notability. Trivial or incidental coverage of a subject by secondary sources is not sufficient to establish notability. Once notability is established, primary sources may be used to add content. Ultimately, and most importantly, all content must be attributable.

is the Principle Notability Criteria that applies.

Alternative Criteria for a non-commercial organizations is:

Organizations are usually notable if the scope of activities are national or international in scale and information can be verified by sources that are reliable and independent of the organization.

However, I do not believe that a high school or secondary school achieves notability by way of "scope of activities are national or international in scale" simply by virtue of organising visits by students to other countries. If this was the case, almost every high school in Europe would achieve notability under this criteria, and "something that everyone does" is inherently not notable.

Therefore, some assertion of notability needs to be made in the article, preferably in the introductory paragraph. "It is notable for ...." This assertion should be supported by suitable external references. DMcMPO11AAUK/Talk/Contribs 13:27, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability tag removed 2008/08/15
- Dartmouth High is one of the 2 major schools in the Dartmouth, N.S. Many people have contributed to this page and it has extensive links within Wikipedia, both into the article, and from the article. The information in the article is from both the official government sources and from the students who have taken pride in their school. Certainly, the article can be improved, but please do not suggest it should be deleted. It is clearly silly to consider this article to be flagged for Notability and for deletion. This is not a secondary school[edit]
