Fair use rationale for Image:DVIMG.jpg[edit]

Image:DVIMG.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Academy Additions[edit]

In January 2013, I added information regarding the Academies that Deer Valley now hosts. I added details regarding the Law Academy, and Performing Arts Academy. The step to apply, the curriculum, and the goals of the academies. I did so in order to share more information about how the academy system is changing Deer Valley.

OK, seriously...[edit]

I think wikipedia is pretty much the most unreliable source of information ever invented, and is good for nothing but wasting time while at work, but seriously now, I went to Deer Valley High School from 1997-2001 and never once thought I was in a "European granduer of art", nor did I think I was "studying in a far-off acadamy". Yeah it's a very nice school, but I think "a peaceful oasis secluded in a valley of historic snow top mountains and riveting hills" is a bit of a stretch (btw, it doesn't snow in Antioch. Ever.). And saying that the courses perpare people for the Ivy League??? Believe me, there is nothing special and magical about this school or it's classes. The school is pretty nifty architectually, but nobody who went there would ever in their right mind mistake the school for European art. All these biased comments do is make the school look like a joke. Nobody is actually going to believe this crap. I even e-mailed the link to this site to some alumni friends of mine so we can laugh about it together. I see in the history that people are fighting to keep the bias off, but they shouldn't have to. Whoever keeps adding the POV comments, you are doing nothing but making the school look ridiculous. But if that's your goal, hey congratulations, lol. Not sure why I care so much...[edit]

But this article is a mess. Should probably be deleted. I went to this high school and, well, you don't need to go to this school to see what a mess this page is I guess. I used to edit wikipedia but stopped. I think I might pick it up again and try to make this article better. If anything it will give me something to do at work. Gonna be a long project, but I'll try to get started on it in a week or so. I'll use FA class high school pages (if there are any) as a template. I've never undertaken the task of basically destroying and creating a new page, so if anybody wants to seriously give a hand, that would be grand. I don't know much about wikipedia policies, but I will do my best. Supergoalie1617 (talk) 18:15, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
