Unidentified aircraft[edit]

Can anyone identify this Deruluft aircraft (type) from 1927? Thanks, /Urbourbo (talk) 18:19, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Has meanwhile been identified as Dornier Do B Merkur. Arno-nl (talk) 13:45, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Very interesting company[edit]

Think about this company.

  • Ownership: a 50/50 German/Russian ownership. Who had the final say in matters? What did the stockholders meeting look like? Neither party had in this constellation the final say. Must have been a challenge to get things done.
  • Personnel: 'Most of the aircraft used were German, and so was its organization'. Sources mention that 90% of the personnel was German. What did the Soviets think of this?
  • Secret military cooperation: There was a secret joint cooperation (treaty of Rapallo) where Germany supplied aircraft to Soviet's military, and there was a joint training site near Lipezk.

Reasons for termination must have been abound.Arno-nl (talk) 09:45, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
