Rural[edit]

Doane Stuart's campus is not "rural". The school may be on 70+ acres, but it is located right in Albany NY minutes from the bustling downtown. "Bucolic" best describes the DS campus SONORAMA 00:38, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Peacock Terms[edit]

I disagree that the school mission section should be classified as 'containing peacock terms.' The principles of "ecumenism" and others are actual phrases used by Doane Stuart to describe their school community and mission. Kdka421 22:06, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's the problem, we should be using second and third party sources and not what Doane Stuart describes themselves because they have a COI in that they of course WILL use peacock terms to describe their community and mission, their goal is to get new students, our goal is to tell describe the school in a factual neutral way. Sure there are plenty of Times Union articles that can be used.Camelbinky (talk) 23:26, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing problems[edit]

Other than the history section, the article is pretty much unsourced. In addition, the material in the article is not likely to be the type of material for which reliable sources may be found; most of it looks like it's pulled from the school's website. Most of it should be removed. SunCrow (talk) 08:00, 25 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
