Instruments[edit]

I propose to add that Money played the saxophone, keyboard, and harmonica (see https://beta.washingtonpost.com/local/obituaries/eddie-money-singer-behind-take-me-home-tonight-and-two-tickets-to-paradise-dies-at-70/2019/09/13/3fdc6b0c-c8e5-11e9-a1fe-ca46e8d573c0_story.html). Thoughts? SunCrow (talk) 07:43, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that makes sense to me and seems appropriate to include on the biography of a noteworthy musician. Some of everything (talk) 22:08, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, under instruments, I agree to at least to add Saxophone under "instruments" and the publish does list keyboard and harmonica. It is well known that Eddie performed and sang playing the saxophone. I have links listed below that confirm your link if not same link. I told Eddie's Widow Laurie I would try to get it done. I am talking right side of page info?part?

Trivia[edit]

The name of the hospital that Money died in was included as an indiscriminate bit of information that has no relevance or due weight according to the topic, which is the subject's life and career. Elizium23 (talk) 00:50, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Someone's place of death seems an important location in their life (inherently where the careers become unrevivable, too). Los Angeles is a vague big place, and the precise hospital here is notable. I think a link is fine. InedibleHulk (talk) 03:25, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the reprint of a report that is the only source containing the name of the hospital, I changed my mind. It looks like the family is alleging wrongful death and medical malpractice. The hospital is relevant after all. Thanks for the suggestions. Elizium23 (talk) 03:34, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, thanks for that extra context. InedibleHulk (talk) 03:37, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

adding instruments[edit]

AThe Money Man Fan (talk) 21:30, 14 July 2021 (UTC)fter twelve hours of trying to add "Saxophone" and trying to get directions to do the such and me not willing to go to an outside link to try to get the "How to correctly" I edited. So, lets have a discussion and try to reach a consensus as it is widely known that Eddie did perform with musical instruments. I asked please before and now I am begging, And as so far as what a poster told me on Tea House that direct witnesses' bear no wait here.[reply]

Let me give you this example: I serve onboard a US NAVAL SHIP that saw a battle and know much about the Ship. I have found articles on the web that are serious flaws. But, someone could post that information and I could not edit it by my own eyewitness of the events. The article states people died that did not.

If someone would help me on this I will go on my merry way. I made promise to Eddie's widow. I am here because someone suggested it on "Tea House".

This is what I wrote on Tea House"

I found out how to edit instruments but, I am instructed to do this "If you think an instrument should be listed or removed, a discussion to reach consensus is needed first per: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_musical_artist#instrument -->" I followed the link but it did not tell me how to start a discussion. So, I tried and do not want to do wrong and I am not coming here before trying. Also, I have no intention of editing regularly.

I do have publish resources but one resource the "Washington Post" requires an email sign up to read is that acceptable? This article lists Saxophone, harmonica, and piano, Which is as follows

https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/obituaries/eddie-money-singer-behind-take-me-home-tonight-and-two-tickets-to-paradise-dies-at-70/2019/09/13/3fdc6b0c-c8e5-11e9-a1fe-ca46e8d573c0_story.html?fbclid=IwAR1VURY1A50sgm0Eq-Ev9ioG__aa_HZp2pIqfeAkEs96n4MOIaeONqcPk_k Here is one with the saxophone mentioned. It is my understanding that a reference is not needed if it is a well know fact, such as, If I edited "Jimmy Hendrix played the electric guitar." https://www.musicrecallmagazine.com/interviews/interview-with-rocker-eddie-money/

So, how do I reach a discussion to list the instruments. I do not care if someone else does it, I look for no recognition. I would like to handle this to give Eddie's widow a small pleasure during her time of grief. Please help me to do this for Laurie. The Washington Post obituary is already in the article, and it verifies saxophone, keyboards and harmonica. I added it to the infobox. We improve articles for the benefit of all readers, not as a favor to a family member. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 21:51, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cullen328, thanks for this. Saw the plea at the Teahouse. Tribe of Tiger Let's Purrfect! 04:39, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
