Portrait[edit]

I don't know the U.K. copyright rules, but noticed a portrait of him was donated to London's National Portrait Gallery by Church House in 1949.http://www.npg.org.uk/collections/search/portrait/mw185039/Edward-Thomas-Demby?LinkID=mp97788&role=sit&rNo=0 I think if it were in the U.S. and held by the Smithsonian's gallery of the same name, it could be freely used, but here it's for sale and I don't have time to research the issue nor complain much about too-long copyright periods. Also, time constraints prevented me from locating Beary's biography of Demby for page cites (it's not-on-shelf at the library I looked) so I wasn't able to correct the page cites and used only the same author's abbreviated encyclopedia bio (only crediting him once, unfortunately but to avoid confusion when I or someone can actually find the book).Jweaver28 (talk) 12:18, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

National Louis University[edit]

Although the source I used indicated Demby taught at National University in Chicago, there is actually no such institution. I believe it meant National Louis University, but am not correcting the disambiguation link until I or someone else can confirm.Jweaver28 (talk) 21:57, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
