Article suggestions[edit]

I appreciate the "further reading" section, but there are not any citations made throughout this article. I would like to know where the definition of embodied music cognition came from. After the first sentence it would be helpful to have some elaboration on which activities embodied music cognition pertains to most often instead of the broad use of "all musical activities". In the introduction, it says that it is assumed that what happens in the mind depends on the properties of the body, I would like to know what studies were done to support this and see the the citations from where this information came from. In the same section it talks about important musical gestures research, but doesn't elaborate on what this research is. It would be helpful to add a link leading to this research or tell about it in the 'methods' section. Throughout the article more evidence should be given about research and facts, and citations should be placed at the end of each different persons' thoughts. Right now it looks as though this is all original information from the author of this article instead of being based on theories and research from other sources.
