Question[edit]

Is it internationally legal? Are there no examples for scandals? Some scandals and trials for Germany are listed in de:Mitarbeiterüberwachung. Simplicius (talk) 06:00, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The last paragraph in "Location Monitoring" and the "Employee privacy and ethical issues" section seem to be very partial and opinionated. Should this be edited to be more objective? Meijin3 (talk) 15:56, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This article has a lot of strong text already but I think incorporating supporting images would be helpful for the reader. Nicole.lallier (talk) 17:44, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There are some chunky sentences that could use editing. I think when we add our new information, we should try and revise what is already there as well. Nicole.lallier (talk) 17:06, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm also seeing a lack of information overall, blocking it up with examples and sources can be a starting point in editing Emmaras (talk) 21:09, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Comments:[edit]

-Under "Legal Issues," the last few paragraphs could be simplified. It appears as though they were written academically, whereas they should be simple, neutral statements so that anyone can understand them.

-While there are links to other articles under some of the topics, there could be some brief explanation of what it is and how it relates to employee monitoring.

Emily Roeder (talk) 03:32, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

-The legal issues category seems to be a bit wordy. Maybe it would help to break them down. Some of the other articles do not seem to be established enough. I would focus on building up information on these articles and taking out quotes and paraphrasing K.bentzen1 (talk) 03:42, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the links to "illegal software" and "company policy" because they led to creating a new Wiki page aka nowhere. Nicole.lallier (talk) 13:47, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Added: "The enormity of potential productivity loses, as reported by Court (2004), is approximately one million dollars annually for a company with 500 employees surfing the Internet for just a half hour a day." [1] Not only does employee monitoring prevent theft of money and resources, but it also prevents theft of time and to make sure people are doing what they are supposed to be doing in the workplace.Nicole.lallier (talk) 15:49, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
