Internal and External auditing: Internal Audit refers to an ongoing audit function performed within an organization by a separate internal auditing department. Grant's first wife, the former Mildred Livingston, died in 1980; their only daughter, Nancy Chamberlain, died with her husband and fours sons in an airline crash in 1961.
