Spade Connectors?[edit]

These look exactly like the type of connectors that are almost universally referred to as "Spade" connectors in the UK, yet I can find no mention of this alternative name in the article. Are they the same thing? If not, shouldn't the article at least mention the similarity? 86.131.182.201 (talk) 21:56, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a "spade connector", which doesn't look like a "quick disconnect" connector in this article. • SbmeirowTalk • 04:57, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Spade connectors are (to my understanding) a different type of connector. I found this out while on Mc-Master [1]https://www.mcmaster.com/spade-connectors/terminal-type~spade/
I used to think they were spade terminals as well. Hans K Mortensen (talk) 15:57, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
When it comes to one wire single connectors, lots of ignorant people lump various shape of connectors together as one name or one vendors name, but that doesn't make it right, nor does it need to be documented on Wikipedia. I added a photo to clarify the different types. • SbmeirowTalk • 20:27, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
