Images[edit]

This page is in dire need of photos. Several promotional photos of Floater exist that can be used. Including their Sink era photo where the three band members are pointing rifles at each other in a triangle formation. There is also another promotional photo of them sitting on a rock wall. I believe this same photo has Robert Wynia wearing shades, and Peter Cornett has a bandana on. We need these to add some flavor to the History section. There are also promo photos from the Angels era where the band had photos taken of them underneath a house (you can see them crawling around). The latest Floater promo photos are from the Stone By Stone years. They show the three members in front of a metallic looking wall. Pete on the left has long blonde hair with a fedora-style hat, Rob has a brown coat and pants with white pinstripes on, and Dave on the right is wearing a white fur coat and shades. Another photo from this same shoot has them crouching on some tubes.Leitmotiv (talk) 05:13, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Sad Ballad of Danny Boy[edit]

This song should probably get its own page. I'm not sure what the requirements are for songs getting their own page. But I would imagine if any Floater song could have it's own page, it would be The Sad Ballad of Danny Boy. Leitmotiv (talk) 07:59, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment[edit]

This is still C class. Large sections remain unsourced (namely the lists) and many of the lists needed to be converted to prose. For instance, start with the band members and maybe a paragraph on each with some bio info, though that should likely be focused (though not entirely) on their musical careers. In addition to who they are and what instruments they play, who does the writing (or if all do, then say so and maybe give a brief breakdown of that process). Then with the albums, who did the producing, writing, etc. (which it appears this info may not even be on the articles about those albums). In general, see the U2 article as that is feature status and a band, and thus a good format/content/structure to emulate. Aboutmovies (talk) 05:56, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So our next goal is to get rid of the lists, including the band members list, discography, and covers. Perhaps by giving them their own page. The band members however can be incorporated into the leading paragraphs at the top of the page, with mentions of the other helping hands elsewhere in prose.
