Accurate info?[edit]

The wiki claims George Hill was at 3% body fat on draft day but there's no source backing that up and that doesn't seem even remotely possible. (considering that professional bodybuilders don't even go that low in body fat) Someone want to remove that part?

Seasons played?[edit]

NBA.com show that Hill played 4 seasons, but other sites like yahoo.sports & espn show him playing 3 seasons. I've decided to go w/ Yahoo & ESPN since they seem to agree with each other. $user log (talk) 12:47, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

George Hill had one season where he got injured after only 5 games. That would have been his natural Junior year. He recieved a redshirt and played his "Junior" year in 2007-2008. He was then drafted. So 3 counted years, 3 years and another partial in reality. Go here for more info:

Image[edit]

Why no picture of Hill? The picture of the statue of Magic Johnson doesn't really fit here, nor does the picture of Popovich. 75.73.70.229 (talk) 05:45, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know, no free images of George Hill are available. I have checked flickr and found none that have an appropriate license. I only added the Johnson & Pop images because the article looked like a wall of text. If you think it would look better without them feel free to remove them. -- GateKeeper(X) @ 07:07, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All state soccer[edit]

So I stumbled across the reference to George Hill being an all-state goalie in HS. I was the same age and played in the same city/conference as him. As far as I know, he definitely did not make all-state as a goalie. He went to Broadripple HS, and they were terrible at soccer. They didn't have anyone in the Top Scoring, Top Assists, or Top Save or GPG rankings, and they lost in the first round of soccer playoffs (sectionals) every year I looked up. That doesn't mean he couldn't be all-state, but he doesn't show up on any of the official IHSAA all-state teams from his time in HS.

I know this is original research, which goes against wikipedia policy, but I would just ask that it be looked at for removal. He clearly played soccer but the only verification for him being all-state as a goalie seems to come from him. 207.181.202.215 (talk) 19:35, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it. There are zero references to him being all-state in soccer. The IHSAA website would be the definitive source on it, and there is nobody from Broad Ripple mentioned...at all. He was named "Honorable Mention All-City by the Indy Star, which would only include the IPS schools and private catholic schools, but would not include the larger schools like LN, LC, North Central Pike, Ben Davis, Warren, etc. So, out of about 10 schools where only Cathedral and Brebuef are good at soccer, Hill wasn't even good enough to be a first team all-city player in soccer, let alone all state. It's not original research if you can provide links to the all-state teams as you have. 208.40.242.41 (talk) 19:58, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

he is on a new team[edit]
