Album Certifications[edit]

Why does this article says that:

  • Godsmack(ST) is certificated 6.00x Multi Platinum
  • Awake is certificated 3.00x Multi Platinum?
  • Faceless is certificated 2.00x Multi Platinum?
  • IV is really certificated Platinum?

Visit RIAA.com, search for Godsmack, you will find that:

  • Godsmack(ST) is certificated 4.00x Multi Platinum.
  • Awake is certificated 2.00x Multi Platinum.
  • Faceless is certificated Platinum.
  • IV is really certificated Gold.
I don't know why, but people always change those certifications. The RIAA doesn't have it listed, but Godsmack says IV is platinum, so that one is okay. Burningclean [speak] 22:19, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Other Albums section[edit]

Why is the border around the bottom 2 albums in this section a different color? It's not a big deal, I'm just curious. --Rockfang 08:24, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Different types of albums are different colors. Studio, and demos are blue, EPs are pink, compilations are green, and live albums are brown. To see more about it look at this this. Skeeker [Talk] 15:55, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

The Discography page should be merged into the main page. It is pointless to have it separate. Both are good articles and would be better if combined. According to the merger proposal page, there are several good reasons to merge a page including:
  • Overlap - There are two or more pages on related subjects that have a large
  • Context - If a short article requires the background material or context from a broader article in order for readers to understand it.
The Discography article overlaps with the main article and the context requires background knowledge from the main article. Demantos 12:47, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I would disagree with the merger. It is common practice to split the discography and the main artist article. To include it within Godsmack may just add too much in my opinion, especially to a featured article. Why not try to expand this and make it a featured list? -- Reaper X 04:08, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And check it out, it's a featured list now. —Burningclean [Speak the truth!] 01:30, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
